Sandra McGregor-Elzie is a member of Georgia Romance Writers where she served two years on the board as treasurer. She graduated from the University of California at Sacramento with a BS in Business. Born in Tillamook, Oregon and raised in North Carolina and California.
Sandra now lives as an empty-nester in Georgia with her husband of several decades and her two cats, Sadie and Bella, who rule the roost from any lap they choose to occupy. When not closeted in her home office she can be found reading, connecting with her readers, or traveling.
Sandra Elzie, writing as Sandra McGregor, started writing when she was ten. Her efforts produced a three-page masterpiece that, fortunately, will never be seen outside her immediate family. Sandra told her husband in 2000 that she couldn't wait to write for submission and, hopefully, publication, after she retired in 2005. He threw down a gauntlet, challenging her to start right then and not wait five years. Her first “sweet” romance sold in 2007 after she and hubby moved from California to Georgia, spending six months along the way to see America in a 39' 5th-wheel travel trailer.
Sandra has two sweet contemporary books with Montlake Publishing, In Daddy's Shoes and The Diplomatic Tutor and two Historical Romances (set in the 1930s and 1940s) published by Wild Rose Press, Emma Rose and When Truth Takes Flight. She also has two self-published Historical Romance, A World of Difference and Cora Jean
and twelve contemporary self-published romances.
Writing is an awfully big adventure ...
